FROM THE "FIRENZE SUD" A1 HIGHWAY EXIT (approx. 18 km from the Castle)
Reach the town of Pontassieve. Do not enter the town, take the ring road (follow AREZZO-INCISA indications). Keeping right continue along the SS69 expressway for AREZZO. Drive along the Arno River for about 4 km until you reach the town of Sant'Ellero. Turn left at the fork for DONNINI-VALLOMBROSA. Continue for about 300 meters and turn left as soon as the castle boundary wall ends, taking the unsurfaced boulevard that leads to the entrance gate of the Castle.

FROM THE "INCISA" A1 HIGHWAY EXIT (approx. 12 km from the Castle)
Take the SS69 expressway going towards PONTASSIEVE. Follow the SS69 expressway as far as the town of Sant'Ellero. Turn right at the fork for DONNINI-VALLOMBROSA. Continue for about 300 meters and turn left as soon as the castle boundary wall ends, taking the unsurfaced boulevard that leads to the entrance gate of the Castle.
